EA simply made the simmed stats based on player heirarchy on a roster. So it goes to show simmed stats have NOTHING to do with how good the player was. So for key players on teams we messed with rosters, we had to track which roster row they were and adjust. This from the Genesis game, so not sure if the PC or SNES were that same. So to fix this, you had to manually drop and add players in a way so Lemiuex would be row 12 again so simmed stats were good again. My bro and I were wondering WTF would Lemieux now only get 30 pt when simmed and some random Pitt guy would get 100+? Then we figured it out. Lemieux on Pitt might drop from row 12 to 13. So if a gamer manually adjusted rosters with trades or created players etc. Lemieux would be awesome etc.īut the stats were all based on which row/slot in the roster the player was on the team.
